Celebrating Ava's 3rd Birthday

We had a fun day celebrating Ava's third birthday. It was a Dora-themed party and we had a great time.

While getting ready for the party, I took out the braids that Gabriella got while in the Dominican. It was a much more complicated task than I had expected, but Gabriella was very patient. Being able to simultaneously watch "Sid the Science Kid" certainly helped matters! This is what her hair looked like after taking out the braids! She must have known how wild it looked because after it was completed she had been frowning slightly while pointing to her hair!:

Of all of the party activities to choose from, and all of the friends to play with, this was Gabriella's favorite activity of the day, riding in Ava's car. Of course we had to go out and buy her one just like it after the party!
