Photos of Gabriella's Pick-Up Trip

Sandy and Daniel took Gabriella to a salon for "little princesses" to have her hair done for their final day together. She looked precious and she even had sparkles on her scalp. These photos were taken shortly after Norma, Sandy, and Daniel left the hotel. This was our first evening together again...together forever.

Her hair looked so cute that we didn't take it out or wash it so that it could last one more day!

Norma, Alejandra Gabriella, Gabriella, and Sandy - It was so precious to see the two babies together, especially when they embraced or kissed.We arrived on a Saturday and on Sunday we had dinner with Norma, Sandy, and Daniel. They share the story of Gabriella's first year, from the moment they picked her up to come home with them through the present. It was extremely emotional but wonderful to have heard the details and to videotape it so that I can share with with Gabriella in the future.

We made such wonderful friends in Guatemala. They made our visits so much more fun and they will always hold a special place in our hearts. This photo was taken at dinner with Victor, Geovani, and Geovani's mother.

This photo was taken on the morning of our Embassy appointment. It was very early in the morning and we were pretty anxious. Our appointment was at 7:15 AM. Gabriella was not pleased to have been woken up so early for a bath and breakfast.
