2nd Annual Pumpkin Party

We hosted our second annual Pumpkin Party at our house. Cousins Andrew and Bella and Friend / "Sister" Ava were there with their families. A great time was had by all!

Gabriella had a fun time baking cupcakes before the party. She enjoys "cooking.":

Happy 26th Birthday Tita!

We spent the evening with family at my parent's Cape house to celebrate Tita's (Aunt Candace's) 26th birthday. Gabriella ADORES her Tita and when we are not with her, Gabriella talks about her constantly!:

Prima Ballerina

Gabriella was listening carefully to Ms. Lynn's directions and trying hard to do her twirls!:

Ms. Lynn had asked all of the students to make Halloween ornaments for the "Halloween Tree.: Gabriella's pumpkin is the one with the black smile on the tree in the background toward the bottom left of the tree.:

Playdate

Gabriella had a playdate today with friends Alejandro and Ava and cousin Bella. A fun time was had by all!

Not An Ordinary Banana Sticker!

Ken had packed a banana for work. When he went to eat it he realized that Gabriella had put a smiley face sticker on it! Too funny!:

Horse Riding Lessons

Gabriella has been continuing her horse riding lessons. Ms. Lynn is beginning to teach Gabriella how to "post." Not being a horse person myself I had no clue what "posting" was but it requires the rider to essentially stand and sit in sync with the horse. Ms. Lynn taught Gabriella posting today and I was laughing so hard with excitement. I couldn't believe Gabriella was doing it AND she looked absolutely precious. It was amazing watching her teeny little body standing up on the massive horse. Unfortunately I do not have any photos, but hope to take some at next week's lesson.

Backpack

Gabriella knows about backpacks from "Dora the Explorer" and has several styles of backpacks of her own including a backpack that looks like Dora's. Today, while I was putting away items from the store, Gabriella was tinkering with the empty plastic bags. Then she ran to me and started exclaiming, "Backpack, backpack!" She was wearing one of the plastic bags like a backpack! I thought it was very creative and pretty intelligent of her to have used the plastic bag in this way. Each day she continues to amaze me and entertain me!
